For acrylics, she takes time selecting her color combos and mixes her own colors. She has been taught to do a layer and step back. Repeat until happy. Sometimes she is not happy. In this case, she will start completely over. You can see her works evolving now too with complexity from her earlier start at 4. Now at 8 almost 9, her work has placed best in show. She has won many 1-3 ribbons. Abve has been featured on the news, in newspapers, worked at children’s business fairs as well as booths alongside her mom. She’s shown in exhibition and a photography magazine.

Old Abby News!

Congrats to Abby for appearing on Spectrum News ! News story

Congrats to Abby Girl for auctioning off three pieces of work for a local Hudson Valley Organization, Angels of Light. She raised 500 dollars to help sick children and their families

Abby participated in a Childen’s Business Fair with her line of abstract art and was featured in the Times Herald!

Abby has started her own line of paintings and photography prints along with select pieces of handmade jewelry to raise money for dance classes.

Abigale Eve was published in a Magazine for her composition titled (by her), Dark Waters. She appeared amongst other young photographers under the age of 18!

Abby just also took Honorary Mention in Let Grow competition. She showed how she is being independent during the COVID Crisis!

Why she started an art business-

One day Abby announced out loud that she wanted to take responsibility for paying for her own dance classes because she knows it’s hard on mom. Now shes on track to become a contemporary ballerina at almost 9 paying alot of her ballet herself! The summer of ’23 she completed 90 hrs in ballet and other dance form training of which a lot she paid for herself.

SO … All proceeds from purchases of her artwork go toward her dance education as she is homeschooling with extracurricular activities that work for her. Thank you for your support! She is now 5 almost 6.

And the original art blurb circa 4 yrs ago

This girl has done a lot for just five! Have a look! Her main study is abstract. However, she doesn’t just toss a bunch of paints on a canvas and walks away. She purchases her own supplies from her bank account or I give her a loan until she can pay me back. She always does. We spend a lot of time angsting over paint color selections which she likes acrylics the most. However, she has also been inspired by graffiti artists too and likes spray paint. I make sure her face is covered and she is outdoors when the spray paint is used. Recently she has expanded into sculpture, and mixed media. However, still remains as a boundary pushing abstract artist. She believes the sky doesn’t always have to be blue in a picture. It can be whatever you imagine.
