Abby Girl Hiking Trails Review
We will review the trails we have hiked here by difficulty and scenery! Please remember that everyone’s views of hikes are different and different people can handle different levels of activity. =super easy to being difficult & a special for that just completely sucked.
Locust Grove, Poughkeepsie NY-
-Recommend a carrier or walking legs. Could probably use an all-terrain stroller, but I wouldn’t want to do that. The map is great. Some trails definitely. require carrier only. Marked on map. for difficulty (easy peasy).
-Water features, view of Hudson
Winnakee Trail Preserve
-Easy, quiet hike.
-Bugs lots of bugs and yes, I wore bug spray as stated in blog.
Madam Brett Park-
-Very easy hike as long as you stay on main trails.
-Varying scenery makes for an interesting hike.
-Easy hiking trails. Populated. Diverse trails.
-Has an awesome playground and splash pad on Memorial Day! Mama approved. Though
I’m not sure about this year, but last year I stopped going because of bees. They were aggressive. Was stung. Am allergic. Not cool.
Burger Hill, Rhinebeck NY-
-Short hike! Your legs will burn. Not stroller friendly.
-Beautiful view at top.
-Peace, Love and French Fries
